Default Battery relocation to the trunk

Ive decide to relocate the battery to the trunk(with kill switch). What is the best way
to go about doing this? I think the Dynabatt won't work too good back there,
so what the best/lightest battery I can use?
Does anyone sell a complete kit(?)or just piece on together?

Thanks

My battery will be relocated to the spare tire hull in a few weeks to help with weight tranfer and put more squat to the tires. IMO the stock battery will help a little more with weight transfer rather than a lighter battery located in the trunk but if your looking to shed more weight then go with a lighter battery. Moving the battery to the back from the front will drop almost 50lbs off the nose of the car and will help alot

No kit really, just have to piece it together. And remember, to be legal, you will have to have a kill switch mounted on the outside of the car.

What do you think is more effective....a Hawker up front, or a stock-type battery in the rear? By moving the battery to the back, I could use a lighter catch can which should offset the weight gained by the extra wire. It would be maybe 20 pounds off the nose, but 40 pounds added over the tires. Actually, that sounds pretty good since I have a hard time catching anyway.

Reckless, why are you moving your battery back up front?

You can always remove the catch can and use a Hawker battery. Just fabricate a hold-down for the smaller battery.
