Default Do I need longer wheel studs back and front?

Do I need to get longer wheel studs in the front also?

Do I need open end lugnuts on all studs, or can I just put it on one per side?

Thanks.

Yes you need fronts also and yes they all need to be open so the tech can check the length.

I would say, depends on what type of tires you are running. Street up to ET Streets, no. Slicks yes. But is always better to be save than sorry. Never seen 2 techs the same.

If you go with long studs, only thing that will fit is open ended.

that's when you purchase a set of open ended chrome lugs for your TT2's... that's your only option if you're going to run longer studs.

Keep this in mind. Studs that stick out way past the nut are simply not required.

"All wheel studs must project into hex position of lug nut by a distance equal to one diameter of stud."

That does not say "stick out past lug nut 1 inch".

To pass tech, an open ended nut is suggested just so he can easily see it.

Do some searching on the NHRA rules. Google is your friend.
