Ran the car tonight, time for clutch and tires.
First off my car weighs in at 3660 still. I removed the rear seats and seat belts since last time but I guess the 12 bolt made up for the loss of weight. Was very muggy tonight and all of my friends mph was off (buddies bolt on lightning was running 12.70s at 106, his best is 12.30 at 110/friends bike was running 11.2s at 121, best is 11.00 at 125).
First run
60': 2.096 spinning first and second
R/T 587
330: 5.441
1/8: 8.152
mph: 90.86
1000': 10.477
1/4: 12.429
mph: 115.47
Second run
60': 2.241 spinning first and second
R/T 622
330: 5.567
1/8: 8.279
mph 90.31
1000: 10.613
1/4: 12.57
mph: 115.13
Other runs I fried the clutch on the burnout which didn't allow me to go into second on one run and fourth on the other.
I have got to get a clutch in this thing once the bills calm down. I also need to get some tires although I feel with some more practice and a clutch I could net a 1.8 or so 60' which is all I think it would take with some good weather to get my pig into the 11s.
However, right now I will leave the track for the autos and keep cleaning up on the streets

The z06 clutch in your car will hold for a while, just dont do clutch burnouts Mine has been surprisingly holding pretty well but I did the drill mod and I bleed it every time the fluid turns black in the clutch master. Just get some ET streets on there and dump the clutch at 5000rpm
I havent got my car to a decent track yet with the heads on it but I'm in the 3600lb club and I hope I'll get it in the 11s soon.

The best mod for our M6's on burn outs is a line-lock. Lock up the fronts, ease out the clutch in 2nd and do one big burn out. Will not hurt your clutch. 2nd best mod for us M6'ers: Harlan's 2-step. Set it at 5800 rpms and let it rip . You will need to change out your clutch to a better after-market one sooner or later.
