i like this hood and i want to know if the visibility is very bad... hows the fit any close pictures of the cowl up near the windshield?

i've looking at sawing off the cowl that hangs over the engine and putting a pin on hood, on the car...

its either going to be the mike moran hood or the sunoco wide hood that way i can trim both to fit the windshield.

Seated in the car with seat belts on and tight, I can't see the ground until the 1/8 mile when the car is staged. I can see the throttlebody pretty good though!

My vote would be for the sunoco hood, I really like the styling, the one without the line down the middle is what I plan to get for my car.

im guessing staging the car is a bitch with out any one helping you... i like all the engine room though...

FIT:
The Mike Moran hood is a cut to fit pin on style hood so the fit is whatever skills you have or whatever bucks you have to pay someone else to do it.

VISIBILITY:
Like stated before it is very limited. I am 6' 3" and have a hard time seeing things close to the car. It basically cover half of the windshield. Go out and measure 5" up off the center of your hood by the wipers then make a straight line to your windshield...now cover everything below that with tape or paper and then get in.

LOOKS:
I think it looks kick *** and I can't wait until I get mine painted.
