one pint will probably be enough. I bought a quart of some black urethane epoxy paint to do my 6 pt with and I don't think I used even an 1/8th of the whole can. Put it this way, I'm finishing the 6pt off into a 10pt with some extra bars and possibly a full halo around my head.... and I know I have plenty of paint to do the job with 2 good coats.

no problem. I know the por 15 stuff is great and all, but if you have a local place that sells boats, go and see if they have any expoy-urethane paint, the stuff is stuff as nails and has a nice gloss finish to it, UV doesn't bother it and it will probably cost ya abotu 1/2 as much. I put mine on with a foam brush and when it dries you can't see hardly a single brush stroke. If you wanted to get really crazy you could put 3 coats on and wet sand it with 1200 grit paper and have it look like exterior paint, but I don't have that kind of time to waste LOL.
