.

Spring rate is usually determined by weight.
On my slow car, Strange doubles, weighs 3000 lb N/A & 3200 lb on N2O.
I use 110's now, & have used 125's in the past. Good luck.

After the 25.5 is done are race weight is going to be right at 3300.What was the diffrents between the 110 and 125? I know once the car is done im gonna have to get it on some scales to see the balance of the car.

The chassis shop that is doing your 25.5 setup should easily be able to get you the right springs and install them properly.

All 3 of my cars have shocks in back of housing, so if what 99 said is right, my cars will not help. Even if they are about the same weight.

The only reason I switched from 125 to 110 was I had to try something. My slow car just does not 60' as well as it should. So I was trying everything & anything. The damn thing ran 8.50 & 8.60's with 60's all over, from 1.27-1.35. IIRC the chart showed use 125# springs. Good luck Tuff.

My old nova was a 4 link coil over and weighed 2950 with me in it and I used a 125 rear coil spring rate. 52 front / 48 rear weight.

A car I built my buddy is right around 2500 and we run 90# in the back of it.

With an f-body at 3300 I would guess you'll be around a 130 -150# using a coil over. Also the rate of spring depends on the weight distribution.

I run a 150 in the rear of mine in the stock location, it's not a coil over and it is pretty firm feeling.

Best way is to scale the car put a set of springs in it and push down on the car a few times and your chassis shop should be able to tell and should have a few pairs.

I have a set that I think is 130 pound 12" that was in my buddies car but it ended up weighing like 2470 something and was too heavy to use.

If it is the size you need and the right rate let me know and I'll just send them your way if you pay shipping.
