MPH QUES?

MPH QUES? Went to track saturday night and put down best mph ever at 117. Did this three times in left lane. Made 2 passes in right lane at 113mph. I would think it was timing controls except a buddie ran 105 mph in both lanes all night. has this ever happen to anyone and is it possible? Only new mod since last runs was a homemade scoop that extends down from my ssra an xtra 6 inches. Any one have an idea? Jason

Re: MPH QUES? I have done better at the track in one lane than the other too, but I can't explain a 4mph drop from switching lanes. Never heard of that. Did you go back to the other lane and run 117 again?

Re: MPH QUES? Yeah ran in one lane then went to other. Was a couple of cooling periods in between. I ran the mph at different times in the evening.
