At the track mods....
Planned on going to the track for the 1st time on the 4th of July, and just wanted to ask you guys what are some simple things I could do AT THE TRACK to make my times just a little bit better. For one thing I have a pretty heavy audio system- 1 10" woofer & amp in a box as wide as the car, dont know how much it all weighs but would this be a good idea to take it out?
Its mounted right behind the passenger seats and not where your t-tops go. Also how many psi should my tires be if I have some nitto 555's, I've heard 19 will work fine, next would it even make a difference if I took the air filter out? Thats all I can think of to do, now it's yalls turn
thx

Re: At the track mods....
seats
spare/jack
for nittos run 18-20PSI and do a nice burnout. Best 60 i cut stock internal was a 1.58 on them so they hook
I also run 40-44PSI in my front tires for better weight transfer
