Default convert my 1/8 to 1/4

With my new headers I ran 8.05 @90.1 mph (1.96) at an 1/8 mile track. What do you all think that would equate to in the 1/4 mile? It is a M6 car with stock 3.42 gears and tuning. My only mods are gm hotcam, pacesetter headers and offroad y w/cutout, and a tsp air lid

not an exact science but its pretty close:

8.05 x 1.56 = 12.558

Just to give you an idea on how close this is:

rob raymer just went 6.303 in the 1/8 and 9.86 in the 1/4 (6.303 x 1.56 = 9.83268)

And I can agree with you. I ran a 7.74 in the 1/8th. Doing the math, that looks to be a 12.07 and in reality I ran a 12.09

This formula doesn't apply to my curremt times. It's an M6 as well. My 1/8= 8.271 so if you said 8.271*1.56 this comes out to 12.90276 and I ran 12.69 So don't rely on this completely. There is a site that is full of race formulas. It's www.prestage.com. Lots of cool formulas but they use 1.5832 for the 1/4 mile multiplier. I think these formulas are a bit more accurate with A4. Good Luck!
