Got the car in Feb this year its a 99z28 109k at the time now 114k m6 with cam (think its a hot cam bc ive got blue valve springs and arp head bolts), Mac hearders, ory, Slp loudmouth no mufflers/cats, lid with k&n, descreen/ported mass air flow, rebuildt trans..

I added a motive 4.10 and TA cover, Monster stage 2 clutch package,ive got the ls6 intake but havent installed it waiting on 243s and found out the car has MIL sims on it and i guess it needs a tune bad bc it has a bad idle after cold starts and slurges..

So i decided to go take it to get a dyno for just 3 pulls and was atleast wanting 350hp but was i wrong it only did 335hp 328tq ran rich???? i was like wtf when y friend in a stock 00 trans am with lid and catback only made 312hp 328tq and was wondering where a good tune would put me and i want to get rid of my MACs and get longtubes..

Get a good tune...it will do wonders...go ahead and install your LS6 intake. My old cars first cam was a hotcam...It was an A4 then and had pacesetter headers, ory, dual cutouts, ported stock throttle body, and an LS1 intake and did 364/362. You need a tune pretty badly it sounds.

Your tune is rich but you aren't real far off on HP on a close to stock LS1. Tuning will help that and maybe a few ponies and take care of surge

thanks guys gona go to Tick Performance in Mount Airy, NC for tune and i guess ill go ahead an add the intake
