Default Cam only C7- New Era VVT cam gains 121 rwhp!

Been doing a lot of C7 and LT1 testing on the shop C7 this winter on the dyno.

Engine intake system R&D, cams, porting stock parts. Some of the factory parts are good performance. But New Era using the all the past years of LSx, cam and tuning with VVT, AFM, DOD on the latest engines. The C7 last week on the dyno with a VVT cam package with AFM delete testing are showing some big gains.

121 rwhp at 6550 rpms over stock!

Our C7 has a stock air intake and filter still
New Era Performance VVT cam package with AFM delete
ARH mid length 1 3/4 primary headers,
NEP Race axle back exhaust (prototype)
In house tuning (dynojet) mike @ newera (I hear hes good )

Peak gains are 89rwhp so the title is a little misleading, but solid over gains overall. Nice combo.

? I didn't think so? I copied this right off the shops FB page last week. Gained 121whp @ 6550 as it says. The screen shot of the dyno pull has the curser @ 6550, shows stock 391, after 512 = 121 gain. Didn't say peak to peak? With that being a 90hp gain with gaining 6-800rpm more in the power band This is LS1tech not a noob figure people have seen dyno pulls before, and see it yourself . If anything thought it was about as accurate as you can get. It's the same dyno few hours apart, cam was swapped in right ON the dyno. Not a "comparison" from weeks/months before, or different dynos, or the same dyno but showing the runs separate with a different setting. Now the winter posting up STD or uncorrected settings, number games. FYI if you don't know about that, I noticed it with my car I dyno it a LOT so I know it will make right at 440 with the same parts (any month of the year. 50-90 tamps in the shop) And will show 465-470, (IIRC a 473whp once) when its cold STD or uncorrected settings

this weekend we had some warm days (40s-50)
