Default Disappointing day.

So, just for kicks I decided to strap the car down today just to see what the car is doing. Now, before some of you say.....didn't you already dyno the car....no I didn't. The previous owner did. Reason for me re dynoing the car is, I wanted to see for myself live in the flesh. The car is a 00 ss, ls2 Ptgts 76....Yada yada. I'm disappointed mainly because it seems that ever since I put these new tires on the car....it refuses to boost what I command through the eboost 2. We made several pulls and the car wouldn't boost over 13psi.....even if I were to command 22psi. Cutout closed at 11 psi resulted in 589/705 through the MagnaFlow 3 inch muffler. Cutout open at 13psi only resulted in 649/tq unknown (didn't read). I need some opinions as to if going from a 295 45 17....to a 315 35 would cause the engine to not have enough load to boost as it should, or could the dyno not be loading the motor enough. Btw the motor will hold 20-22 psi, previous dyno session yielded a little over 800 and 875rw. And yes, I will be at the track this weekend, boost issue fixed or not. . Ps: the tune is pig rich up top, 10:5.....14* timing.

Was the 800/875 on the same dyno?

No. But I did find the issue, and it was me that was the problem. After watching an eboost2 tutorial, I learned that the boost programmed isn't always what you get. The time that I've had the car, I've only adjusted the boost once...and just so happens it boosted exactly as I commanded. Anyways, this morning I got pissed and turned it up to 50....and it pegged 20psi. All is well, just learned that it isn't exactly linear. Had I figured this out yesterday, I'm very sure it would have made either the same, or a little more. Playtime this weekend!
