TSP 231/237= 67 rwhp gain!
I installed my TSP 231/237 cam this weekend. Before the cam my car made 300.3 rwhp and 325.8 torque. After the cam it made 367.8 rwhp and 382.9 torque! I picked up 67 rwhp and 57 rwtq! Air/Fuel was 12.7 across the board. I already have a Chris R tune but it has not be updated for the cam. I'm hoping I will pick up a few more ponies after I get my tune adjusted. I have to say I am very happy with my TSP cam and would like to thank Trevor at TSP for hooking me up with what has been my best mod to date. Thanks Trevor!

300rwhp on an 02' with full exhaust seems rather low on a dynojet...
A 2000 A4 LS1 without the LS6 intake usually make around 330rwhp with just some LTs, ORY and cat-back.....I imagine the 01 and 02 models to be in the 340rwhp range... (dynojet)

does it seem like with that cam your car lost any power at all on the bottom end or is it stronger from bottom to top
i know it may be hard for you to tell since you have aa high stall converter so i dont guess your car will ever see the bottom once you nail it
that cam is the one that i was thinking of getting ... i have a M6

Blade- both pulls were made on a dynojet. I have been told that my converter was probably eating up about 20 to 25 rwhp.
Full-Force, From what I can tell it seems to pull very hard from top to bottom. Of course, like you said I do have a high stall converter so I probably won't see low end very much.

Blade, they must run some nice adjustments on dynos in your area. 330 for a 00 with just exhaust is very nice. Mine, and several others were more around 301-315. That extra 15 makes a world of good.
Not sure on my after cam dyno...now you got me thinking!

Yeah an 02' w/ LT's, true duals and a lid should definitely be more than 300rwhp (even though it's an A4). I guess the converter really was eating up a lot of power!!
Anyhow, thats a huge gain, no doubt. How is the idle/driveability?

I dont even have a full exhuast yet and I made 350hp/360tq with mods in my sig. I am looking to do headers/ORY/GMMG cat back and a cam and try to get over 400hp. Just gotta find a good streetable cam to use. How does this cam do on the street with milage/idle and all.

Silver Bullet- my old cam was the stock cam.
Sneakyws6- Your car is a 6 speed so you don't have the drivetrain loss that the A4's have. Idle and driveability aren't the best right now, tuning will fix that though.
KB99ws6- The car is not tuned for the cam yet, so the driveability isn't exactly great. I'm getting it tuned next weekend and then it won't be so bad. My friend has a 99 Z with the same cam. His idles and runs just fine.

i have a 2000 SS with the ls1 intake, lid, headers, 2.5 inch true dauls, 3500 TCI SSF convertor, and tuned at TEA by Brent who i personaly believe is the best in Kentucky. And i made almost IDENTICAL numbers as you..
315.7 hp.. 325.8 tq.
so i guess Blade might want to reconsider that 330 BS... i have never seen it and I have been to MANY dyno days with many cars.. hell, even 01's and 02's WITH the ls6 intake are only getting in the mid 320's.maybe 330, ..(A4 w/exhaust)...but its definatly not the norm for 00 A4's with headers to be in that range

Hey guys,
I just though since this a tsp cam thread I would drop a line and see if anyone was interested in my cam set up. Everything is brand new still in the box. I can email pics if needed. I have the 231/237 cam with the crane duals, hardened seats, hardened pushrods and ti-retainers. I will let it all go for 675 shipped obo. thnx Chris
