Default Baselined my Z28

I took my car in to find out what she's putting out before I start throwing parts on there and was very happy with what I got. On the first pull it was running pretty lean, about 13.5:1 in the upper rpms, and put down 300 horses. The second run was a little bit richer at about 13.3:1 and put down 308 horses. Then on the last pull the computer finally got it right and had it between 12.8 and 13.0 all the way to redline. So with a K&N, descreened MAF and a flowmaster catback the car put down 322.7 rwhp. Oh yeah, its a 2000 Z28 M6.

Those are pretty good numbers.......did you have a lid ?

Personally, I would dump that Flowmaster - do a search and you'll see why.
.....it's pretty restrictive comparitively speaking.
Also, although being a "fad", I would look into gettin another TB with a screen (just my opinion). Even though you gain a few HP the potential for damage carries more weight in my book.

Not to totally negitive, those are good numbers and you have the potential for more !

No i don't have a lid on the car yet, althought there is one in the mail. So far I've heard nothing but bad stuff about the flowmaster catback but that's what was on the car when I got it. Luckily, I'll be coming into quite a bit of money in the next two months and I'm trying to decide if I want to get headers and true duals, or maybe save a up for a little longer and get an sts turbo. We'll see what happens.

My torque peaked at 340 and it held that from 4000 to 4400 then began dropping off again. I was trying to post the dyno sheet last night but I guess the file was too big or something cause I couldn't get it to work.

Nice numbers man. I'd ditch the flowmasters though....
