Default Dynoed my car today...

First time ever having a car dynoed. Pretty cool experience i might say. Had it done at Pampena Motorsports in Ronkonkoma on Long Island, NY.
I have a pretty much bone stock 2002 Z28. Only thing i have done is a SLP LM cat back. I also only have 8k miles on the clock. Well anyway here are the numbers:

299 rwhp @ 5300 rpm
319 rwtq @ 4400 rpm

Both at a pretty steady 13:1 air to fuel ratio.
It would have been nice to see an even 300 in the hp but i can't argue. Now, as soon as i get some cash the modding will begin.

It was a AWD dynojet, and the numbers seemed low to a lot of people. A lot of cars that had prelviously hit 400 HP elsewhere were doing closer to 370.

Brians car looked like it ran real strong for a stock car, and with a 13:1 a/f he should have bested the 300 mark easily, but this dyno just wasnt putting out.

maby the dyno just wasn't calibrated right. I would say he would hit 325 to 330.

maybe it wasnt a good air day? dynojets are usually generous and each one does read different, could be a lot of factors involved but if everyone said it seems low then maybe something is up.

well my car na through a 10 bolt did 400/392 at eastside
yesterday na it did 357/348 through a 12 bolt and being generous i say the 12 bolt only brought me down at most 20hp so i think the calibration could have been off a bit plus my afr was real rich(11.5 compared to 12.5 it should be)damn closed loop cars haha

so i think it was off about like 15 but every dyno is different and only gives an idea of power...track is where it counts

brian if ya wana do some work on your ride let me know...i have done all my own work

some longtubes would do wonders for you...maybe a mild cam

Without a doubt i would love too. My only problem...money, i don't have enough of it. I just bought my new wheels (the ones i had on at the dyno day) so i need to take it easy on stuff for a few weeks. But, as soon as those are paid off... I'll be back in the game.
