Dynolog Dyno Tune
I just finished my tune on a dynolog dyno.
I found some good information - my car has been tuned on the road and strip, it was close but we managed to extract an extra 8hp by adding more timing.
I think Dynologs read similar values to a Mustang dyno? They are a bit lower than a Dynapack.
We also used the dyno to tune fuel economy which we could see instantaneous fuel usage on the screen once we fitted an inline fuel meter. We simulated cruising at 60mph and 45mph by making the dyno load the car to the same map as when cruising and got it to 33mpg and 38mpg by tweaking the afrs and timing using the Bi-directional controls of EFIlive. All done without turning the engine off.
