Default Comp 224/224 results

Just got the car back the other day...I have mti lid, mac mids, ory, dynomouth catback, 160 thermo, and ls6 oil pump. Car is an m6 98 z28. Just got new pushrods, springs and comp cams 224/224 112 lsa. Car was breaking up in 4th gear on the dyno...tuner said it was prob. plug wires. Heres a vid of a pull to 5800rpm.(the max we brought it to)Car mad 340rwhp

get whatever is broken fixed and redyno. those numbers are what regular bolt on guys make.

I would definitely get it fixed and finish the tuning...that cam should make power up to 6000 or 6200.

i made same rwhp with bolt on's... long tubes might help, ls6 intake would def. pull some more out as well

It would be sweet to hit high 3's on mustang dyno
I have seen guys with a little bit milder cam hit 400rwhp with same bolt ons...

There's a lot left on the table not having long tubes or an LS6 intake. Considering that and the limited pulls it's about where we expected it. It's also still tuned real safe until the miss is fixed.

yea def. Brian...I got new plug wires and put 7 out of the 8 on...I gotta go check the plug wires cause she is backfiring like a summa bitch. I'll be there thurs. Brian...brian u da man

good luck should hit bout 370 on the mustang with a fixed car and some longtubes. start working the street.

I made 350 rwhp uncorrected on a dynoject, LT headers, CATS, LID, 12 bolt rear m6 and dyno tune.

mac headers are not hurting this car. I gainedminimal hp from macs to Edelbrocks but the car sounds better with longtubes.

fix the cutting out part and retune since you really cant tune a car that is not running right.

cracked spark plug was the ticket...car made 345/365. That ls1 intake mani. is what's killing me I think. She runs like a well greased machine though.
