ok, a guy at school has an 07 gsxr 600, i was wondering if i could hang with him at all?
And should i go from a dig or a roll.
He just weekend drives it so hes no pro.

my car is an 88 trans am gta
weighs 3300 with driver
has an 02 ls1/t56
full bolt ons
ford 9" with 4.11's
lots of suspension stuff

also i will be installing cam in the next few weeks, its an mti x1, and typically puts down 400rwhp on the 6spd cars, i want to wait until i get that in to do it.

I figure im mid 12's now and with the cam i should be high 11's

If he can ride worth a flip, he will put a hurtin on you. 125+ traps > 115-120 traps
GO FROM A DIG and outlaunch him, that's your best shot.

something tells me he cant, i saw one on passtime last week ran a high 12....driver makes all the differance.

That's what he just said.... if he's a decent rider he won't have a lot of trouble with you. If he's a squid and you go from a dig then u should be able to hold him off on a marked 1/4mile.
