I purchased my whole top end including a 6.0 shortblock but ended up selling the shortblock for a good price and have decided to build a forged motor but in the mean time this is what I'm doing!

L33 5.3 Aluminum (big weight savings)
TFS 205's heads 58cc chamber
Cometic .040 Gasket 11.0:1 compression
BTR Stg 4 camshaft (235/242 111+2)
Fast 102/102
4L80E PTC 4400 Converter
Nitrous outlet plate
ARP hardware

Plan to spray 250-300 and run it on E85 and spin it to 7200-7500.

I'm hoping it will make in the 400 rwhp range which should net me a 11.30-11.50 on motor and hopefully a 9 second car on the 250. it should be 3300 with me in it

anyone have max effort 5.3's out there?

Such a clean ride!! With that big of a cam with those heads you'll be north of 490 at the crank no problem. I KNOW THAT AS A FACT.

Im building a forged 5.3 with p/p 799's. weiseco junk yard dogs, 11.1:1cr and and don't which cam yet, Proflow intake. In for results if you get it dynoed. Curious for track times too
