Picked up new Daily driver
Flew down to florida yesterday a.m. bought car at 1 pm and had it home in the garage at 4 am. Was on a record setting pace until the snow/Ice storm in the whole length of ct at 2:30 am. avg speed including gas stops was 84mph on gps up until the white knuckle 55 mph crawl across 80 miles of black ice and llight snow on 95 in ct. Car is totally unmoletsted with cats, a.i.r., egr and factory air filter. Must keep it that way

thanks for the compliments. I hated the color at first but seeing it under lights last night at a gas station it really hit me. some different wheels and it will look pretty good.
It has been so long since I drove a stock F-bod I forgot how nice they drive and how quiet at speed with the full exhaust and 2.73 gears. Ive been driving a 4600 stalled longtubes no cats and dumped borla --- gives you a headache.
My mom had one of those caprice wagons when I was in high school. That was the ultimate car to take on dates.
it had a 305 , got low to mid 20s mpg and was virtually indestructible. If they still made a car like that I would trade the wifes minivan in a heartbeat. It would be gone long before my girls got to be high school age though.
