Default Where to get a Torque Converter Installed in CT

Anyone know of a reputable place to get a Torque Converter installed in a 99 formula? Also how much should I expect to pay? Thanks

Where do you live, in CT.

Also I will mention that you should check with Sponsors, some are in MA and PA and they are not too far of a drive.

I am located in Branford. It is in the New Haven Guilford area. Some where in CT would be best if anyone has work done at a place that is reputable. Thanks

Do you have a TQ converter in hand? Or do you need someone to help you pick out one. Basically if you already have a unit in hand, ANY shop that does tranmission work can do the job for you, as for what you would pay, each place is different, most go by a Flat rate guide based R&Ring the trans.

Also to assume your bumping up the stall, so a cooler would be in order too. If you need a converter check with the sponsors.

Yea i will be purchasing the converter and cooler online. I am figureing that is the best way to go. I was going to put a cam in before the stall but from what i have read members say to do the stall first. Plus my exhaust is on with bandclamps and have been on for less than a year so they should still be able to get them off no problem. Any longer with the winters around year and they may be stuck on for good lol.

probably pay about $350-$400 just for the converter install.
Don't forget to tune your shift points after. And your right stall before cam will be the better route.
