NJ Traffic Court how to get deposition?
My father got pulled over today because an impatient cop was stuck behind him in the fast lane. (my father was passing cars and doing 55, the cop didnt have his lights on)
So he received a ticket for failure to keep right. I know some of you are in NJ and some of you are even officers. I am going to help my father fight this and would like to know how I can get a supporting deposition of the officers account of what happened. I would appreciate any help.
Thank you.

Thank you, I am sure I will I do have faith in the justice system I just hate that we even have to go out of our way to go to court. The guy just gave him the ticket without talking to him.

Just show up to court..
Speak to the prosecutor first, explain the situation truthfully.. Hey he was doing 55 on the left lane because there is a cop behind him.. He would pass faster but risk a speeding ticket then.
I bet the cop doesn't even show.
Go to court a fews times and have charges dropped.
Is the passing lane a points violation? does the ticket code start with 39and whatever number)?
