Fl_lcl< Crank Pulley's
I hate them, I hate them, I hate them, I hate them, I hate them, I hate themI hate them, I hate them, I hate themI hate them, I hate them, I hate them.
Anyways, any advice on tightening this thing down. It's maybe a 1/8 of an inch from being flush with the timing cover. Just at the point where it is so unbelievably hard to turn(which is believable to those who have done it)
Then it's the torque arm to install. The y-pipe and catback, then intake manifold, condenser and radiator then harness then BOOM fire.

Just a heads up from a person who has done this before. FRom what you are describing it sounds like the bolt is cross threaded in the crank. The same thing happened to me I started the bolt with about two threads by hand at least I thought long story short the pulley fell short of the timming cover tried to back the bolt out and of course it was stuck and had to bring it to ttp and they had to tap a larger hole in the beginning of the snout and use a new grade 8 bolt. Before you really wrench on it try to back it out if it comes out out then get a nice pipe at the end of the ratchet if it doesnt then you may have the same problem. Hope it works out man.

You didn't say what method you're using to install it. Personally I wouldn't use a plain old bolt. I bought this tool from a member, it worked very well:

I also coated the crank with antiseize. I think that helps.
