I thought the new shop could use a logo that we could cut some vinyl with. I took it upon myself to throw something together. (I talked to Don before posting this)
The design itself is not 100% finalyzed yet, but almost. Thanks to Tom for cutting the vinyl, based on how it comes out we may tweak a few things. I think the logo could be used for any kind of emblem, sticker, or banner for your car. Heck maybe Don will use it for a shop sign.
Is this something you guys are interested in? Would you sport one on your ride? Let me klnow what you think...

I like any constructive criticism though. If his name was "SlowOctopus" or something then I wouldn't have that problem.

Yeah Marco, once we get a couple smaller scale ones done up I'll see what it takes for a winshield banner. I might have to scale it a bit or maybe cut the point off the bottom for a better fit.
I'll be sticking one on my rear hatch if the design goes through, but to give you an idea.

I would imagine 1 piece. I scrapped a few designs because it was getting a little elaborate for vinyl. I think this will work fine as one. Once we see a small scale one we will know for sure.
I just wanted to see what you guys thought before I/we put more time into it.

It does look good. As far as a windshield banner goes, I don't know. The point on the bottom kind of gets in the way. I know it's just a photoshop, but see if you can get it a little bit smaller. But It also doesn't seem to flow right for a front Windshield. Most banners fit on one line, across the top.
I think It would look Pisser for Don's front shop windows!!

Yeah as far as a windshield banner goes, we can easily invert the colors. If we do that then the banner can be a rectangle w/ the image inside. There are lots of ways to make it work.
If the point a the bottom becomes problematic for the windheld then I can just make a straight edge on the banner and cut it out.
Remember on that photoshoped image I just threw it together. The black can be whatever color your want while the white will be see through. Get it?

Something a little more like this to help visualize.
I don't personally like putting banner's on my car and originally I made it more like a logo. I wanted something to put on the corner/back of the hatch area.
Like I said I am sure I can make it work in a banner form, especially if I cut the point off.
Well Tom got back to me, I have some cleanup work to still do, but it should not change the design.

It might just be me. I was never fond of windshield banners. Even though the vette had one, but I got it from Don that way. I think side hatch area would do it more justice. It just looks too busy for across the front windshield. Try to get some side pics with it photoshopped on. Just my 2 cents. Overall I think it looks kickass!
