UPDATE PICS Pickers DREAM wow I had to share this. Don't know if some of you have seen American Pickers but it's a show I watch. Bottom line, with such NICE weather today, I was driving around with the Family. I'm not the one to stop at a house that says garage sale but my wife was nagging me. For the first time I'm glad I listened. ALL I can say is WOW! If your familiar with the show, I felt like calling these guys up AFTER I get a few items. Long story short, I'm buying a 50-60s fuel pump with the globe...I'm also getting a 50's style ice cream shop style high table.
This stuff was like wow, oil cans everywhere, old gas signs to make you go blind, 30-40-50s coke machines, coke signs, coke coolers and a early 1900s tall glass gas pump. I'm still thinking about all that fantastic stuff. I wanted the coke machines, but $$$$$$$$$ wow. Too rich for me but the cool factor in my dream man cave makes me think. Oh the price for a coke in those days 5cents.
I'm going to put some coins together and buy some stuff. I never thought I would see this kind of stuff. Even disney has hit him up on many items.

coincidentally, its seems like they played that show over and over this weekend and I caught it once or twice. I wish all these things would find their way to museums for all to see and remember vs. rusting away in someones garage. Its cool that some folks are out there finding history like that and cleaning it up and helping it live on.

He knows what he has. I wouldn't call him cheap. His barn is almost like a museum. Its a nice setup. Bottomline he is looking to move and he wants to downsize. So taking notes from pickers, game on! HaHa...Still though I'm going to work the guy on my next visit to pick up the pump. I admit it was like WOW when he invited me into the barn...I was like where are the camaras.

Thats awesome man! I love stopping at garage/yard sales to look and see if theres anything I can't live without lol. (9 outta 10 times I don't buy anything) Seems like you landed some cool stuff!
