Need to Locate a T56 Rebuilder Sarasota/Bradenton Area Recently moved to Sarasota/Bradenton area. Trying to settle in here and now I need to find an honest person or rebuild shop for my T56 Transmission. Can anyone help lead me in the right direction? Not always able to get on a computer right now, so if you could call me and let me know, my number is: 941-374-0702. I will try to check back to this post as often as I can. As of right now, I have lost 1st and 2nd gear. I'd be interested in one already rebuilt or in good shape if someone is parting a car out, if the price is right.

You can try Darryl at AutoWorx in Venice. He does good work and stands behind it. I was going to have him redo my T-56, but ended up just going with a T56 magnum as the cost to rebuild was just as much as a new trans.

would like to jump in as well, from the tampa area looking for a good reasonable shop,
have a t56 from a 95/97 t/a unknown miles, its set up for a pre 86 sbc, just wanting piece of mind before I install it into my 84Z28,
