Sorry boss I missed this comment. But yes I was relocated to start work at Embraer. Lots of opportunity here with NGC/Harris/Embraer all going through hiring sprees.
I need more car buddies, preferably LS buddies

Looks like a shed (hole in the wall). I have tried 3 machine shops in the local area including Steves, Matts, and Rank. And the results were poor from ALL 3. Visually everything looked fine. But when measured with our QC equipment here at our facility....not to acceptable standards, at least not for our million dollar prototype engines. I checked surface roughness with our specialty machine and neither Matts or Rank could get it in spec. Rank screwed up a $500K prototype engine block trying to deck the surface (we only have 5 of these). Looked great to the naked eye. Put it on our marble slab and measured flatness....no bueno. We now ship everything up to our contact at Roush in Detroit to have machine work done because no one around here has NEW QUALITY equipment that can hold good tolerance.

So.....were you seriously asking in a local thread of a car forum for a local machine shop, and then follow it up about million dollar engines and 500k prototypes? Bit different world from a standard rebuild on the ol 346....

anyone know of any good apts that are not a bitch to get approved for? maybe if someone has a sub rental (apt or condo).

I know xxxSilencerxxx, Blackbird and Mike Morris - but would love to meet up sometime. Used to go to "gatherings" all the time when I lived in Maryland -- don't see that too much down here. I think it's because everyone has to work three jobs to make a living down here.
Anyway -- live on Merritt Island, have a store at the mall...now, where's the next meet? Hooters? What about TNT at Bithlo one Wednesday night?
