I have yet to find a reliable shop in the WPB area that works on F-Bodies, and knows what they are doing. If you find one, please let me know. But this is the reason I suffer through doing all my work myself, even if I don't know what the hell I'm doing!!

I will second that The only competant LS1 guys we have are the best around in Palm Beach reside at www.pbfbody.com And the only hands to ever touch my car, they've done all the work to my car, motor rebuild is next up.

They can rebuild any LS1 from the bare block out, etc. etc. and even install a cam in 2.5 hours.

actually the guy that did my head and cam swap and is doing my long tube header install tommorow is a great guy and is very up and up on the ls1 stuff, roger preston, of horse power sales formerly preston motorsports. His shop is off copans rd west. And his prices are very reasonable.

First off, when the track sucks you bet people aro going to complain. I was out there last night and NO one got out of shape. Amazing what alittle VHT will do. When I spend what I do twice a week and get a shitty prepped track of course I will complain. After last night my nights of T&T are going to be limited, time to let my 12 bolt do what it's meant to do on tire vs a drag radial. I guess I need to race at slicks only nights if I want a decent 60' out of my car.

I am pretty good on the tree, better on my shifts. Thanks for asking tho.

At the risk of sounding like someone who gives a ****, you have a point. T&T nights the track is not prepped the same as point's and quick 16 nights. Not tell you what to do, come out and run in trophy or pro on points nights. As far as get out of shape "LIFT" you got nothing to prove to anyone out there. And no one wants to see anyone get hurt or cash at that track or any other track. Also ifn you want a decent 60' out of your car I can help you with that.

1. get a rope
2. hook it to your car
3. hook the other end to my car
4. put your car in neutral
5. Hold on.....

All in go fun if you can take what you give.

Dude, you are mistaken here. You see the picture below in my sig? That's my car, that's the one that I race, it's also the car I go to Publix in as well as go to work in. It's not a race car such as yours, I never get out of shape on the track. My complaint is not getting the 60's that I have in the past gotten at MMP. You are trying to compare apples to bananas here.

I've been to many points nights, that's not the racing that I am wanting to do with this car. I have nothing to prove to anyone out there with having to have a 8 or 9 second car. I am happy with my low 12 high 11 second STREET car. My plans in the future is going to be another Fbody for the track, TH400, cage etc etc. so I can be out there with an automatic because there is too much driver error with a stick. I am consistent once I get the groove, I can run within a tenth ie; 12.27-12.20-12.22 but I'd prefer a nice consistent low 11 high 10 second all motor rig.

I can dish it out well and take it well too.

P.S. no risk at sounding like you give a ****, but that's okay you must have or you wouldn't be posting on LS1tech now would you?
