if it were 2003 and we were oklahoma then yes we still would have a chance at winning the BCS national title. We just have to win out, tenn. needs to lose another SEC game, we need to beat LSU in the SEC championship game and we'll be strait. BTW WHAT THE **** IS UP WITH OUR PLAY CALLING? I know our defense is young, but LSU converted on every 4th down attempt.....

that was horrible! ^^^ 5 for 5 on fourth down conversions. they should have challenged the "first down" on the very last 4th down conversion b/c the runner's knee was down. then they wait forever to finally call a time out. horrible coaching. i was so pissed last night. i guess if usf goes to the championship i'll be pulling for them, same with lsu.

i dont care how well or bad your play calling is. the team is young. very young. you need experience to stop a solid 4th down call. if the offense can read a young defense they will be able to get around them. lsu isnt the best team out there but they are good enough to do this. they will still be a top ranked team next year.

i think that the way top 10 teams keep losing, and based on who they keep losing to, anything can still happen. only time will tell what will happen to/for all the teams.

I was confused with Urban's play calling late in the 4th, why make Tebow throw it when you could run it and keep the clock moving? Who cares if you have to punt, should have made LSU work for it.

UFs defense has absolutely no experience in reading the opponent's offense, esp when the offense makes a change at the line of scrimmage. its UF's crutch. they really have no go to guy or leader (regie Lewis) that will stand up and lead the D.
all i hope is they survive this year and learn. if everyone stays healthy, next year is going to be NUTS!

i wouldn't go as far as to say that, we dominated most of the game, our inexperience on defense showed in the 4th quarter and our play calling sucked. But what really killed us was the two turnovers and the momentum shifts gained with those and the challenge for 10 yards. I expected to lose a few games this year, but we could have easily blown out LSU if our defense would have stuck and wouldn't have had turnovers, but what ifs dont win games. We'll have a strong team next year and we still have a shot at the SEC title if we win out. And I really don't think USF (they almost lost to FAU), South Carolina, and Kentucky are all hyped up to be. We'll see how everything plays out. I think it's redic that USC only dropped 6 spots after losing to a 1-4 stanford team when Michigan lost to App state and completely dropped out of the polls.

Yes they have an outside shot still, it sucks though when you have to count on others losing. I hear the guy giving props to USF, go Bulls! The play calling was bad by the way, I know how that feels!

winning 59 minutes and losing it with 1:09 left really sucks, but UF played hard, and will continue to get better as the year progresses. South Carolina is their new game of the year. i hope to run into LSU in the SECCG, as the team that loses the first time, rarely loses the second meeting that year!
tidbit: UF has played 51 true sophmores, freshman, and true freshman. 51! thats an entire offensive and defensive 2-deep! with game experience and 4 top notch CB's coming in(so far) next year, UF has a very bright future. we lose 4 starters on offense and defense combined! (Mcmillan, TJ, Bubba, and Medder...maybe drew miller, traut gets a medical redshirt)
