I'm not sure what kit your refering to, but it's the wot switch and bracket that nitro dave sells.
Edit... If your talking about the one your sent with a nitrous kit then yes! Those are cheap thin metal pieces that usually dont look so hot when your done bending them around by the time you figure out where the switch goes. This is a billet piece specifically made for the ls1 that bolts right up and is aligned like it should be.

Then your right, you dont need it. I'll be going that way on the next set-up also.
But yes, all the Ford Injectors are dubbed "SVO" weather they are 30s,36s,42s, etc...
