Default Moroso Motorsports Park in Jupiter will not be open for racing between Oct. 15th-19th

The drag strip was scheduled to open on October 15th for it's first night of drag racing. Additionally, the Ford Powerfest and Challenge events were scheduled from Oct. 17th-19th. All these events will be rescheduled shortly.

The reason is because the track will not have electrical power until after that weekend. We are hoping to have the entire facility energized by the end of the month.

This is a minor setback but a good one. Once the track officially opens you will all have one of the best tracks, if not the best in the country right in your back yard. You will have a smooth concrete surface from the time you roll under the tower to the time you turn around at the other end. That's awesome!!!

I will keep you posted as to when the first day of racing will be. Thank you all for your patience during this time of renovation. You will love the results!!!

Mike Clark,
Track Manager

I was looking forward to going to the track so it kind of sucks. Guess another two weeks is not a big deal. Thanks for the update.

That might have been for the Ford Show that is going to be rescheduled. the regular TnT below is from our site.

Moroso Motorsports Park hosts Midweek Mayhem (Wednsday) & Fast Fridays every week from 6pm-11pm. It's $25 to race, $10 to watch & kids 11 & under are free.

Im going to wait a while after the whle "new" look has gone away to give it a try. Last time i went when the track was crap i got maybe 4 runs in, my car spent most of the time parked.

Yeah, Moroso was bad for that. All the time and money to get there for 3 or 4 runs if you were lucky. Then, they would run some of the classes through again (pro-super pro) and let sportsman sit out a run.

I Also remember nights out there when i got 9 runs in before 8PM.You have to get out there @ 5:30 to get any runs in but then if someone breaks you have too wait atleast 2hrs.

There have been nights where the car count has been low and alot of runs have been had. Then there have been nights where there have been large car counts and only a couple of runs. The track has no control on how many drivers decide to come out to race on any TnT night. The most cars that i have seen there on one night was 466 a few years ago. I also have seen lower than 50. Add the sometimes multiple breakdowns of which we can't control. Now i can tell you that when a breakdown is synthetic fluid in nature that is a real pain to clean up. When we reopen we will have all new equipment to make the clean up quicker. One thing we are getting one of the track cleaning machines which will be great.
