get the most of my combo I have a stock LQ9 6.0L out of an '05 Silverado SS (in a '70 Impala) with a Magnacharger on it (the kit for that vehicle). It is followed by a stock converter and 4L80E, the rear end ratio is 2.73.
I would like to make sure I get the most out of this combo, without opening the engine or losing in reliability, so I am thinking about a camshaft and/or alcohol injection (to allow a bit more pressure from the blower). I want to keep the max power under 6000 and the torque as low as possible, this is (nearly) a daily driver with maybe a bit of bracket racing and top speed racing.
What do you guys suggest? Any other idea?
