ported LS6 intake on Procharged LS1-LS6
My Forged 346 LS6 boost engine is almost done!
I am going over some things that i am undecided with, water pump, SD-cocepts spring tentioner , clutch, fuel syatem , etc
My SS being a 01 all ready has the LS6 intake , i have a stock TB and a Acufab LS1/LS6 75mm throttle body, the acufab is suspose to flow about 150 cfm more over a stock LS1.
So i dont to go with a 85-90mm intake, being that my motor is only a 346 the 75mm should be more than enough.
But wanted some input about porting my LS6 intake runners, cleaning them up etc,
Will it make a difference? pict up power , being the car is FI ?
here is some info of the new forged motor:
LS6 346 , around 9.3 to 1 compression.
TR 215/230 .601-.574 116 blower cam
A/S Ported 241 heads 2.0-1.57 ferrea race valves, flow 300 at .550-.600 lift
if any other info is needed just ask
