I'm giving an Art Carr a shot this next season. Some of my single digit friends local to me use them and LOVE them. Its a nice one piece unit that the their tech GUARANTEED will not balloon with anything my ST80 can throw at it. He said several customers (and friends of his) run their converters to well north of 1200rwhp.

Under $700 to my door.

see sig.

tats nice but it really doesnt have anything to do with anything once you change how much power you are making it will push the stall out beyond your shift point and you will likely have no extension at all.. if its even under the rev limiter.

I don't have another converter, so we will see how it does. I didn't see your 60', some how I missed it. The 60' should be relatively close to the same wouldn't you think? It would just be the et would benefit from a tighter converter.

isn't et a pretty big deal?

if you are adding power the 60 should also be able to improve

when you add power the conveter will move up to a higher stall, your combo will not be efficient and most all aspects of its performance will suffer.

You might 60' the same, but like MM said, you will likely blow through your converter. Your rpms will not hardly drop between gears, and will have tons of slip per mph on the big end.

I'm not doubting that your right. Just don't have enough money to change converters. If I were able to afford another, what would you suggest?
