Going to be getting a short block soon.. should I use my stock 6.0L heads or upgrade?
As it says.... Im going to start looking into a short block soon. I already have a set of 6.0L heads, stock no mods besides Patriot Dual springs and locks with Ti retainers.
Going to continue to run my D1SC or possibly step up to a F1..... from what I gather I really shouldnt need to work the heads at all. Or should I? Should I go aftermarket?
My goals are 800+ rwhp.... from what I understand with the right setup even with stock 6.0L heads it should be no problem.
FWIW Im leaning towards a HKE build.... not sure if I want 400+ cu.in, might stay under 400.
Anyways.. any info/suggestions are appreciated.

Since you're looking for 800+ rwhp I would go with a set of heads with a thicker deck surface, such as AFR 225cc's. Check out this build where we started with an LS2 block, added a Callies 4.0 stroker crankshaft, our blower cam, AFR heads, stock LS2 intake, throttle body and an F-1A. http://www.exoticperformanceplus.com...Car.php?car=29 Bob
