need help turbo on a 5.3
I have a s-10 crew cab with a 6ft bed baged and body droped i had a small block in it but im now in the process of swaping in a 5.3 from an 02 tahoe. I have an ls1 intake set-up on top with the factory heads block and rotating assembly. I plan on putting twin remote mount turbos under the bed(I know lots of guys on here do not like remote mount but i dont have a choice) 2.5" charge pipe to an intercooler in the bumper. I want to know what kind of up-grades i need to do safely run around 8lbs of boost what size of injectors. stuff like that. Im leaning toward a bigger cam that will help bleed off some compression. imthinking 42lb injectors. and seriously looking into fast90 intake an throttle body though they are a lil too expensive. what kind of fuel set up am i going to need I plan on just piecing the kit together.
Thanks for all the help you can provide

go with chevy 8.1L injectors you can get them from a store on ebay for 20bucks a pop and there 42lb as for cam maybe something like this 212/216 .558"/.561" 114 LSA A cam like that will not have a lot of overlap so it won't bleed off a lot of boost. It will also have a lot of low end power so you can get into boost quickly.

it would work but if you could find like a zo6 cam you'd be better off parish picked up 100rwhp at 8psi switching to a zo6 cam from a stock 5.3 cam but be sure to use some valve springs that have decent seat pressure so you don't lose boost pm me and ill give you a list of some things you might want to pick up
