Default GZ motorsports vacuum pump??

i like the look of thier LS1 system but from thier website i glean that its more of a race setup than a street setup. is anybody running this system in a DD or weekender and how does it behave??

i ask because i've heard that the APS pvc system is iffy and a vacuum pump just seems like the best way to solve the pcv problem AND help the rings seal better (if that's true i dont know, but sure sounds good to me!).

any help here would be swell....

I've known guys to use it on weekend type street cars, pretty expensive for a minimal gain.

I'm running one haven't had any trouble with it. It's a street car but I don't drive it a ton. Mostly went with it to try to save my stock rings on 14lbs

I tried one on my GTO a while back. After fixing some minor glitches with the kit (improperly machined pulley), it would have worked fine on a race car. On the street, however, the belt would pop off sometimes when letting off the throttle. I would NOT recommend for street use.

I have one of their pumps. I haven't had a minutes problem. I have had it for almost a year and put about 10k on the car with it.

I have one on my weekend car and haven't had one issue with it. The install was a bit tricky as all the spacers needed to get it to allign properly weren't sent, but after we figured that part out, its a piece of cake.
