Default Elbow in front of turbo or filter off turbo?

Any decent gains to be had to have a filter right off turbo versus 90 degree 4" elbow with filter in the fender? just a thought

There will be less retriction on the air coming in, less of a drop in psi because of the less retrictive path traveled into the intake

I think if you turbo is in the position that mine is in, placing the filter in a spot where there is less heat would help out nicely.

A single 4" 90' elbow doesn't have much of a restriction. If you think you could get a 20 degree temp drop it would be worth it.
