Possible build
Hi,
I am starting to plan out my next motor build. One of my options is to build a s/c motor. Now my goal is 750-800 rwhp. What has to be done inorder to get to that power level? What I mean is what head unit with how much boost? If i could I would like to do it with a 347 with my current heads. Is it even possible to do on a 347? Sorry for the newbie questions.
Here is what i was planning:
Bottom End
Callies Compstar Crank
Callies Compstar Rods
ARP 2000 Rod bolts
Diamonds pistons that will yield a 9.5 CR with my heads
Top End
TEA 5.3 s1.5 heads
Custom Cam 22x/23x 6xx/6xx
Fast 90/90
and of coarse all supporting mods.
Tell me what you think and what wont work.

Yes you can make that kind of power with the 347. Take a look at our engine build using the stock crank at this link. http://www.exoticperformanceplus.com...php?service=83 Check out this build that is just about a duplicate of what you are thinking of using. http://www.exoticperformanceplus.com...Car.php?car=54
I would use 72cc heads so the pistons have a thicker surface at the 9.5/1 compression ratio.
A D-1SC is going to be close to being maxed out in this range, you may want to consider jumping up to the F-1A. Bob
