Default procharger question

so i want to get a procharger and was wondering what the difference is between one that on a 98 mustang and an fbody. the only reason is because my buddy upgraded from a p1sc to a d1sc and want to know if i can use his head unit on my 01z. i found a complete kit minus the head unit for $500 so i thought i might be able to snag his old head unit for cheap. is $500 a good price for twin intercoolers and the pipeing? is a p1sc a better choice since i have a stock bottom end and boltons or could i use a d1sc? thanks guys

Head units spin in different directions, brackets and plumbing is completely different. The only thing in common is the name Procharger.

I know the rotation is important but is the clocking important?

You can change the clocking of the unit, but you can not change the rotation.

I did ask them about the clocking & the rotation & they said they were 100% sure it will work.
