Max Cylinder Pressure / Boost on a Stock LT1?
I just installed my STS kit and fell in love with my Formula again; but like the drug speed is, I want more.
However, I do not want to blow up my LT1, so I'm looking for information / input on the maximum cylinder pressure / max boost that a stock set of pistons, rods, and wrist pins can handle before bad things start to happen.
My current set up is 5.5 / 6 psi of boost and a Snow Meth Injection kit (tapped into the MAF) running -20 F windshield washer fluid. Oh, 38 lb injectors and a 255 Walboro (spelling?) fuel pump are in the mix too.
I have a mechanical STS boost controller, which diverts and vents a portion of the boost signal to the wastegate, so I can increase the boost to the engine, I just want to play it safe - Any thoughts? How much is too much?
Thanks in advance!

I broke ringlands on the 4 and 8 running a rich tune with a d1sc at 8 psi..Stock internal lt1 can only handle 6-7 psi MAX. You want to have some fun? Rebuild the motor and up the boost and your car will pull like a mother fcvker
