Has anyone...
used one of those mushroom style air filters?
If so...
1. How has it held up?
2. How much did you buy it for?
3. Anyone test one vs a big K&N filter(talking large filters like 6" + long/etc)
Thanks in advance!

I run twin turbos and twin baby K&N filters. The filter is roughly 5.5" at the base...4.0" at the top and 5.25" long..small cone filter....ran 155mph with them on the turbos...took them off and ran 155mph...I'd stick with K&N.

Thanks for the reply. The place where my turbo sits, I can't run a normal conical filter without a 90* bend and the rubber bend on there I think is closing on itself because I see 14# and then it tails off to 10# of boost. So I have 2 main choices, make the bend aluminum or use a mushroom like filter.
Incase anyone asks, the engine is a stock ls1 heads with 9.5 cr(forged internals) with a 208/230 .549/.579 and 121lsa cam. Springs are brand new comp 918s with stock lifters/push rods. Turbo is a 70mm with a p-trim exhaust wheel.
