Default looking for in-car turbo vids to compare my TA to....

I was just curious to see how my car compares to other turbo ls1's by watching the speedo climb... lol, (i dont have a track anywhere close to me, it really sucks!)

If you post a vid also post your HP, TQ, 1/4 or 1/8 times...

I know this is not the correct way to tell what i will run or how much HP i have but its all i got.

I have no clue what my car ran stock or cam only cuz there is no track anwhere close to me. but i do know its ALOT faster than it was cam only.

You could look up Mighty Mouse's old video's. Search Trans-Am destroying the street, or something similar on streetfire.

The only thing I have is a log, but my speedo was off a couple mph. Do you have any vids or atleast pics of yours?

Got a few videos of mine (cell phone) today while i was out tuning.

Elevation- 4200ft
Humidity- 45%
Temperature- 85%

I am running 6lbs and afr is around 11.3 and timming is 6-8*. Rest of setup is in my Sig. Just seems slow!

ya i dropped it down while i was tuning my ve table so that i didnt have to worry about KR...

Thats what im gonna work on now it the timing tables...

Hopefully that will help it out... cuz it just seems slower than it should be.

im pissed now.... I was looking at my video of when i was cam only and I have not gained anything adding the turbo with 6psi!!!! WTF

I knew it seemed slow! how is this possible?

Here is my PRE-TUNED NA video! if you time it and one of my videos up top its running the same if not slower!!!

uh...dude, your car will be fine at 6psi. bump your timing up to 16 degrees or even 18 degrees and see what she does.

running your 6-8 degrees is probably killing a LOT of your power.

have you looked at my build? I think you did. your AFR is a tad rich for 6psi also. stick her around a 11.8 to 12.0

its only 6psi man...not 16. I would at max (or minimum depending on how you think about it) run your AFR down to 11.5; at 6psi you will find on the dyno that you won't make more power by going richer at this point

Ok deffinetly gonna try to lean it out to 11.7 and bump the timming to 14*... and see what it does.....

Im just scared of getting detonation and blowing the #7 ringland... lol

How much is a forged 370 gonna cost me???? Then i can just run 12psi and be done with it! LMAO.... if only i wasn't a broke ***!

Well I made a run tonight after i upped the timming and AFR.... I attached the log and tune... I got some KR for some reason durring the run?! I dont understand why im getting kr the AFR is off but safe.... im still not way up in timming.

WHAT IS CAUSING THE KR?

The car does pull alot better though. THE KR SCARES THE **** OUT OF ME THOUGH!!

DA was 6691ft tonight what do you think I am running in the quater right now? Seems like a 12 sec car..... such a dissapointment, lol.

alothough it did make it to 110 in 4 seconds less then it did when it was at 6* timming!!!

get it tuned and make a road trip to the track one day man, that will be the best (and only imo) way to get a good idea of what your car runs! goodluck.

I know lol.... Just afraid to take it 4 hours way and have it brake at the track lol. i want to go so bad but just afaid of breaking something 4 hours from home.
