would it be possible to boost a 377SBC with 13.5:1 comp on alky? cars setup for racegas right now but my dad really likes turbos and would rather not sell his hand ported brodix track 1's only thing i can think of is running alky to keep it cool any suggestions?

what kinda boost could i push? maybe with twin s400's or t70's most likely s400's cause there bigger

Yep! I know of plenty of people that boost around that CR on Alky.Gas is a different story though.

yes you can run that compression with boost on methanol,but you shouldn't do it with an engine built for n/a.The pistons, pins and rods need to be able to take the abuse.you need a piston and pin designed for the power and an aluminum rod to soften the beating on the crankshaft.Otherwise you're going to end up with alot of broken parts.
