Default PTK Numbers are in!

Alright, went to the dyno friday got tuned up!! 8.5 PSI the car made 478hp/474tq thru a th400 and a 2.73 gear! Not to shabby i don't think!

Went to the track today! Still feeling the car out, but all in all I am pleased. I think it defenatly has more in it. just need some more seat time!
1st pass
11.79 on a 1.99 60 at 122 i think
2nd pass
11.69 on a 1.96 60 at 122
3rd
11.22 on a 1.79 60 at 125
4th
11.16 on a 1.76 60 at 126

Thats sick 10 secs is close are you hitting third gear? I know those 400 has some tall gears plus 2.73 what size tire?

Congrats on the times. I can't wait to put my th400 in. What converter are you using and what were your 1/8th mile times

yeah +2 on what converter?? dang 2.73 gears that must have some nice hwy manners. 10's easy and get that 60' down more and go chase 9's.

Just getting into third gear. As my 60 times git better i would get into 3rd a little sooner and my traps would go up. I need to get a gear in this thing really. I will probably put a 3.42 in... Oh and all this on a poor little 10 bolt!
Today I was running my street setup 18x10 rear wheels with 295 40 18 BFG DR.

I am runnin a converter from "the converter shop" But it was redone by "Bradco" in Louisville. It is a 3600 stall I can't remember the STR.

Nice job! 10's are in your near future, your mph picked up also on the last 2 runs did you do anything different like pop your hood & put a fan on it?

All these passes had about the same cool down times. Just popped the hood as soon as the run was over and let her sit for about 45 mins. IATs never got above 107 degrees. Coolant temos never got above 203 degrees.

Yeah I have pro stars and 38 10.50's MTs for it but I haven't had time to grind my calipers yet...

Have fun! Grind them just until you think they will start spraying brake fluid and fall off.
