Would even 5# of boost go kaboom?

Would even 5# of boost go kaboom?
First off I am not real serous about doing this, because I think I know the answer.
Specs and dyno numbers in sig. Forged pistons, rods stock crank with 11.2 CR.
1. Would this blow my motor up?
2. Assuming it would not go kaboom, what power would 5# make?

I'm got the same dilemma on my 408. I had it built for NA with nitrous in the future. On 5lbs you should be fine for pump gas, but needs a tune ASAP before even really turning the key on it. You aren't wrong for thinking it fella. Hell I am lol You could always turn the boost up a tad but would definitely require race gas though.

No I deff think it would do it but with the cost of the pumps being a little more then 100$ why not get another one and not tax the system as much?...60lb/hr injectors will work well and are capable of a lot. What about lines though? Isnt E-85 more caustic or such? I think I remember hearing that some compounds arent compatible?

What kind of FI are you going with? 5#'s would be okay with forged internals shoot people run 5#'s on stock internals. But if you are on a budget just get some 317 heads to lower your CR they're cheap and if you have the tools won't take long at all to put them on. But as stated get a tune quick if turbo'd stay outta boost until you do. If SC I don't know what to tell you just don't get on it I guess.
