Default Inconnel exhaust valves needed? 1 mile shootout racing.

I'm most likely buying some as cast TFS 220cc heads with some bowl work from TEA (for a 6.0 bore) and was planning on running Inconnel exhaust valves. I want to take the car to the 1 mile shootout events which means the motor will be under boost for extended periods. It is a forged iron 364ci GT88 setup in another Mazda FD RX-7 I have collecting dust.

Am I wasting my money on these parts? I heard they are not much more expensive vs. the standard s/s valves..... How much are they per valve?

I've got the Ferrea Super Alloy Inconnel exhaust valves in my car, since Lingenfelter suggested I go with Inconnel valves. I got them for $30 each.

Since s/s valves are around $10/valve that sounds fair enuf. Under $200 extra for Inconnel.

Any other input?

For a turbo build, it would be a wise investment.

TFS fitted Inconel ex valves to mine when I got them rebuilt/repaired....although the fact I fucked all the old valves wasnt down to wrong material. That was just me lol

The intakes were by far the worst !!!!

They would shed heat off the valve better than a standard valve, Thats a good deal for those long boosted runs.

I sprung for them too, for a supercharged motor that's going to see some road racing, mile action and top speed runs at some point. Like Stevie said, good insurance.
