Default merging downpipes?

How much power on a twin kit would be lost merging the down pipes into a single 3 inch? Looking for 800 to the wheels? They are t3s with 3 inch outlets. I know I've seen a 76 kit that josh merged

I would say it would create too much back pressure. Why cant you do 4" or 2 3"?

I ran two 3" pipes into a 4" only becuase that was what the customer wanted to do. I have since done all the twin setups with dual DP's.
