Default 3 inch downpipes with stock k member and truck manifolds

has anyone been ab le to run a 3 inch-down pipe on the driver side with the stock k-member? I have a 3 inch y-pipe with dual cutouts that i would love to retain and want to run a down pipe from each turbos....and in trying to avoid paying for a new kmember...

I have read that you will need solid motor mounts

Really... if that's it then I don't mind the extra weight of the iron block... I always though you "needed" the after market k-member for dual 3'' down pipes, now im kind of excited...

you will need solid mounts. i had 3 inch down pipe with spohn solid mounts and there was not much clearance i had to make a slight dent in the down pipe for the steering knuckle

Elias, do you think your "slight dent" effected exhaust flow?
