Ive been trying to decide which turbo for my mustang ls1 car. its gonna be either a 5.7 with 317s, or a 5.3 with port/polished 853's. Truck manifold build thru either a th400 or 4l80e

Shooting for 600+rwhp on E85

I don't know how much more no one has tried it yet!!!! LOL
I came up with it the other day and asked Masterpower to make it for me.

It should easily support a 600hp E85 setup with no problems.

Would this do well on a single turbo LS1, not much done to the motor but the single turbo kit. I was going to buy the T70 on your site but would this make more power or spool differently?

Sorry....the only thing I'm doing is fuel support and its a C6/truck manifold setup to retain AC, some valvesprings, hardened pushrods, LS6 oil pump, and a new timing chain. Planning on like 8-10 lbs of boost.

With that setup I would stick with the Ptrim T70, you'll be able to make stock block destroying power with it.

The MPT70 Qtrim is probly better suited for someone with heads or a larger than stock motor

Would 2 of these work good on a 408? I thought the regular mpt70 was good to 650hp? Does this q trim spool better?

Thanks James

The Q is bigger than the P so this = more lag and more power

Thats what I was betting on. I'm already thinking ahead for when I wind up having an issue with this motor, lol. I'll be calling you in the next week or so to place an order anyways.

I've got the MPT70 with a p-trim wheel in my car. It's a front mount (TTi style) setup, forged bottom (348), LPE GT-7 cam, stock 853 heads with springs, stock ls1 intake. Mine makes peak boost/torque (634wtq) at 4300 and peak power (616whp) at 5400rpm. I think the lower rpm redline is a combination of the stock intake, stock heads, and the p-trim exhaust wheel choking it a bit at higher rpms. Still made great power though at 13psi. I need to get a better gate on the car that will hold 15psi all the way to redline.
